GOBI ALOO [cauliflower and potatoes] --------- Ingredients: 1 medium size cauliflower 2 potatoes 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes 2 tbsp grated ginger 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp turmeric 2 tbsp cilantro 3 tbsp oil Directions: 1) Wash, peel, and cut potatoes lengthwise. Cut cauliflower into bite-sized chunks (not small pieces). 2) Heat oil in non-stick pan. Fry potatoes till golden in colour. Remove the potatoes and in the same oil fry ginger paste till brown. Add cauliflower and potatoes. Add turmeric, salt, chilli powder, and paprika. Cook, covered, on low heat till the cauliflower is soft. 3) Add crushed tomatoes and cook on high heat till there is no water. 4) Add half cut cilantro. Serve in a dish and garnish with garam masala and remaining cilantro.
